Loves Me The U-FOES

I always liked the U-Foes. They got their powers in much the same way as the Fantastic Four. In fact the U-Foes HOPED to get superpowers by repeating the conditions that created the FF I the first place. They were successful. They could have been a great adversary for the FF but for some reason they liked to bash on the Hulk the most. Four on one seemed much better odds. Of course they always go their asses kicked.

I have always had a cool story in my head about how they find redemption by rescuing a group of mutant children being kidnapped by slavers. The U-Foes were the ones who delivered the shipping crate containing the drugged and monitored children. They also were the security if anyone should show up and try to stop this shipment. But after the hand-off was done and the money was paid, the U-Foes stayed behind to see what was so valuable in that shipping container. Maybe steal it for themselves. But then they see the kids things change all of a sudden and after much discussion decide that this is something they can't allow to continue. They succeed in freeing the mutant children and that moment sends them on a path to redemption.

The U-Foes are a fictional supervillain team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics usually as enemies of the Hulk. The group consists of four members: Vector, the group's leader who can repel matter telekinetically; Vapor, who can transform into any form of gaseous matter; X-Ray, who can generate and project radiation and fly; and Ironclad, who has a metallic body and can control his density.
