Someone Poached My Beet Leaves

 


 
I hate beets. They are a nasty tuber. But I love wrapping their leaves in bread dough and baking them. Something happens to the bread and the leaves when they are combined that make them irresistible. Some people like them with dill sauce but I like them plain. Especially after they have be sweated in the bread bags for a couple of days. It's a great summer delicacy.

Never heard of that one. Gonna have to try it. We like different foods at our house.

So easy but so good. The leaves do something to the taste of the bread. But sweat them after they are cooked and the moisture will be infused in them and they are great with anything.
