Next to the Resident Evil films, I love the REC series of movies the most for pure zombie terror. There is no hope for any of the people in any of the first three movies and I found it refreshing. I don't recognize any of the stars so anyone can die at anytime...and they do...most horribly. I am not a fan of horror movies because I don't like to be scared but I will let these REC movies scare me because they do it so well. It's old fashion horror movie making at it's best. I also enjoy the subtitles. It forces me to pay attention to the screen so I can follow what is happening in another language. That also insures that my butt remains at full pucker throughout.
