If You Remember This Game Then You Are My People

There was a time when this was a cutting edge as computer game playing ever got. My favorite part was hunting the buffalo though I got pissed because they only let me kill as many animals as my party needed at any one time. I couldn't just shoot all the animals I came across just for the fun of it. There was a life lesson in that I think.

I already know I'm you're people, but did you see this?

I was never much a fan of the original game, but this zombie version rules. It has certainly made going to the bathroom more fun.

I used to play this game in elementary school in gifted class. Always died of dysentery.

I actually had to look up what DYSENTERY was because I seemed to catch it everytime I got in that stupid covered wagon.

Leave it to you to find a life lesson in "Oregon Trail" ;-)

I LOVED that game ... spent many hours of my childhood glued to the computer screen.

And was I the only twisted kid that made my "team" be a group of people I didn't like so I could see "Courtney has died" or something? Haha, weird memories floating around ;-)

I HAD to make up a team in my head and give them identities...only when I died I stressed over the question - "Why ME and not THEM??"
I am having some very weird remembrances of that game. It was a whole little world wasn't it and we all got sucked into it. Then we died of Typhoid. I am glad I still remember my water borne diseases.
