Authorities actually have to tell people that they shouldn't be taking their old analog TVs out to the country (or back yard) to shoot them up like Elvis did because of the toxic components in televisions. While they are at it tell them not to shoot the cat, or grandma, or the neighbor. Damn, there go my plans for the weekend.

I love the people who, when they have decided they no longer need their pool, decide to DRIVE THEIR CARS into them. Of course, some sort of calamity ensues, and you always wonder why they didn't foresee this!
Forsee it? I PRAY for it! Its all that keeps me going. I especially love how these abandoned pools are becoming breeding grounds for West Nile Virus - so I got a summer of that to look forward to. Its a golden age my friend.
